About Fren2	English (USA)
The List is for the exclusive use of students of FREN 201 and 202 at UNE in the current year, plus staff of the Discipline of French and guest members who may from time to time be invited by the administrator to subscribe. The main language of the list is English, though posts in French are, of course, accepted! Discussion purely in French takes place at the FREN 201/202 Website. The list is for the discussion of French and French-related topics; for students to make contact with one another and to suggest activities of mutual benefit, such as 'chat' sessions on WebTC. It is for the submission of grammatical and other questions which may be of interest to the whole group; for the posting of answers to questions by the administrator and for the posting of notices by the administrator to the students in the course. When you first subscribe, please let the Administrator know who you are. You do not need to use your UNE address, and many email usernames bear little resemblance to real names. As this is an exclusive list, we do not want you to be 'bumped off' as an alien! Remember that for this List, when you hit the 'Reply' button, your reply will go to everyone on the list! If you wish to reply privately to the sender, delete the Fren2 address and copy and paste in the address of the original sender. The administrator reserves the right to caution or remove those who do not treat their fellow subscribers with respect, in that they post unsuitable or offensive material. To post a message to all the list members, send email to fren2@une.edu.au. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Fren2
Subscribe to Fren2 by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
