SPECTRUM ISSUES GROUP AUSTRALIA

Spectrum Issues Group Australia is an informal alliance of organisations and individuals across Australia with interests in radiofrequency (wireless) communications and technologies. Alliance members come from broadcasting, community service bodies, consultancies, emergency services, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, government, industry bodies, the radio amateur community and other radiocommunications users.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

1. To promote debate concerning spectrum allocation, usage and protection.

2. To encourage people and organisations with an interest in radiofrequency (wireless) technologies to participate in this alliance.

3. To encourage and facilitate the free exchange of information between alliance members.

4. Represent the mutual interests of alliance members on advisory bodies, government and industry committees.

5. Represent the mutual interests of alliance members with relevant government and regulatory agencies, and parliamentarians.

Using Spectrum

Subscribing to Spectrum

Subscribe to Spectrum by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members.

    You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.

    If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
