Thea-313 -- This is the 2002 on-line discussion group for students of Theatre Studies 313.

About Thea-313
English (USA)

thea313 is an email-based discussion list for the unit "Dramaturgy and Performance Analysis". A discussion list like this enables a group of people to share ideas with each other using email, and can be the equivalent of tutorial sessions for external students. When you send an email message to this discussion list a copy of your message is automatically sent to all the other members on the list.

We will use the thea313 discussion list as a forum for reflecting on the readings, for addressing the questions in the week-by-week guidelines, for discussing your work and progress in the unit, and for learning by interacting with each other. In this regard, the discussion list aims to provide an extension to some of the interactive aspects of learning that will take place at the residential school. There will be no marks given for participation in the discussions (though potentially plenty of brownie points) but it will provide students with the opportunity to discuss and share ideas, difficulties or questions with other students.

Please try to make the most use of this, as it is a very valuable tool for those students who participate. Try not to be intimidated about sending your ideas out into the ether. Take risks, and see what others think of your ideas. It's a good way for external students to modify or develop their thinking about topics.

To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Thea-313 Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.)
